No matter how wonderful your website design is, it is not going to make a dime if it is difficult to navigate. One of the best things you can do to make your site more lucrative it to make sure that it is functioning seamlessly. This helps build the trust and confidence of your customers. You want your customers to focus on the products and services that you have to offer and not how badly your site is working.

First off make sure the typography on your site is easy to read. Make sure the lines are spaced out nicely so it is easy to read.  You should also make sure the font is easy to read. You do not want customers straining their eyes to read the text.

You should also make sure that the site loads reasonably fast so everyone can see it. Not everyone has fast speed internet connection or a computer with a great deal of memory.

To make sure the site loads smoothly you should also avoid using frames or including too many pictures. Some computers do not download these elements easily. This can leave blank pages with lots of little boxes filled with red X’s.

Studies have shown that if your site does not come up fast they will go to the next page. The longest most people will wait is about fifteen seconds so you have to make sure that your visitor can see what is most important about your site as fast as possible.

You should also test every link on your site before you put it online. Broken links make you look very amateur and unprofessional. People do not want to even try the payment system on a site that has broken links.
